Women Ministries of the Evangelical Covenant Church is rooted in the biblical convictions expressed in the Covenant Affirmations of our denomination. We are a people formed by the centrality of the Word of God, the necessity of new birth, a commitment to the whole mission of the Church, and the reality of the Holy Spirit’s transforming presence and power.

Flowing from these shared affirmations, we believe that God calls and gifts women for faithful participation in the life and mission of the Church. Women are invited to engage their faith both individually and corporately, serving, leading, discipling, and proclaiming, from the pew to the pulpit. We affirm that the Holy Spirit distributes gifts without partiality and continues to raise women for ministry in every sphere of the Church’s life.

We also hold a deeply Covenant conviction: we can do far more together than we could ever do apart. When women connect across congregations, conferences, and contexts, the Church is strengthened, and the mission of Christ advances. Women are not peripheral to the work of the gospel; they are integral to the flourishing of Christ’s Church and the ongoing witness of His kingdom in the world.

Women Ministries of the Evangelical Covenant Church is a gathering space where women are connected, equipped, and mobilized for the mission of Christ. We long to see women’s gifts named and released, leaders supported and strengthened, and churches flourishing because women are fully engaged in the life and work of the gospel. Rooted in our Covenant identity, we believe that when women walk together in faith, the whole Church is strengthened and Christ’s mission advances. 

Our community is made up of women from more than 900 Covenant churches and fellowships across the United States and Canada. We are women serving faithfully in every season and sphere of life. Though we are diverse in geography, culture, and calling, we are united by our shared Covenant identity and our commitment to Christ's mission. Together, we form a relational network of women who pray, learn, lead, and serve, strengthening one another and the Church as we walk forward in faith.
